Please join us in welcoming Matt Parsons to the Karavan Trailers team as our new Safety Manager! Matt brings a distinctive and well-rounded background to the role, and we’re excited to have him on board.

About Matt

Matt’s career started with five years in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Communications Signals Intelligence Intercept Operator and Analyst, including tactical deployments across Asia. That experience built a foundation of discipline, mission focus, and leadership under pressure that carries directly into his work today.

From there, Matt moved into law enforcement and corrections, managing safety, security, and compliance in demanding environments. Since 2021 he has worked directly in occupational safety — developing and implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, leading incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements. He knows how to build a safety culture, not just enforce rules.

Matt is also certified on forklift and scissor lift — so when he’s walking our floor, he’s not just observing from the outside. He understands the work firsthand.

Matt speaks English and Spanish at a professional level and is ready to be a resource for communication across the floor. He thrives in collaborative environments and is looking forward to learning from the team while bringing his own experience to the table.
