June’s Employee Spotlight

June 12, 2026

Joni Perez

“I teach, guide, and prepare both new and current staff to build high-quality trailers, so together we can provide excellent service to our customers.”

Joni Perez knows this shop from the ground up — because that’s exactly how he got here. Over five years at Karavan, he’s worked in assembly, moved into quality, stepped up as a line lead, and now serves as one of our trainers, responsible for bringing new assembly employees up to speed and setting them up for success. He hasn’t just climbed the ladder; he’s worked every rung of it.

The Guy You Want Around When Things Go Sideways

Anyone who’s spent time on a production floor knows that things don’t always go according to plan. That’s when Joni’s energy and attitude matter most. When the pressure builds and the pace picks up, he’s the kind of person who steadies the room rather than adding to the noise. His approach to those moments says it all: “Solving problems and moving forward is something I have learned — and I take pride in knowing that I contribute a great deal to the team.”

That combination of experience and attitude is exactly what makes him effective as a trainer. He’s not teaching from a manual — he’s teaching from having done the work himself — at every level of the operation.

Outside the Shop

Away from Karavan, Joni stays focused on personal goals and makes time for the things that matter — good company and a good book. “I love spending time with friends and reading,” he says. That same steady, intentional approach he brings to the shop floor follows him home.

Next time you see Joni on the floor, give a wave — chances are he’s already helping someone get better at their job.
