If you’ve ever walked into a clean restroom or tidy break room at Karavan, that’s Jordania Rugama’s work. As the person solely responsible for keeping the production staff’s spaces clean, Jordania makes sure every restroom, break room, and office they depend on is taken care of — every single day. She’s been doing it for three years.

 

Always on the move from one area to the next, Jordania is one of the most visible faces in the shop. While the production team is busy building trailers, she’s quietly making sure the spaces around them are taken care of — and she does it all on her own.

 

For Jordania, the work speaks for itself, and the moments she values most are when someone notices and says so. “I like it when someone says the areas look clean and respects that I am working.” It’s a small thing, but it means a lot.

 

What many coworkers may not know is that back in her home country, Jordania was a teacher — a career she loved deeply. She brings that same sense of purpose to everything she takes on, including a new chapter she’s recently begun: creating content online for people who identify with her story. She wants to be an example for others who see themselves in her journey — and she’s just getting started.

 

At the heart of everything is her daughter. “She motivates me to work so I can give her a little home and a better life,” Jordania shares.

 

Her daughter is her reason. Everything else — the work, the content, the hustle — is how she gets there.
