Operations Update: Production Progress
February 6, 2026
Team,
It has been a busy week in Operations as we evaluate opportunities for improvement. In the spirit of What got us here, won’t get us there, we have begun making organizational changes and redefining roles. The organizational chart below will help to summarize our new Assembly team and roles.
The Assembly area will be split into 2 teams a Utility team and Marine/Industrial team. For each team, there will be additional oversight focused on safety, production quantity, and quality. The additional oversight will be accomplished with the creation of 3 new roles. These rolls will include a Production Lead (one for utility and one for Marine/Industrial), a Trainer (one for utility and one for Marine/Industrial), and Assembly Support (one for utility and one for Marine/Industrial). Please join me in congratulating teammates assuming new roles. These are exciting changes and will position us well for future success.
As these team members transition into their new roles, I ask for your cooperation and patience. Learning curves are expected, questions will come up, and adjustments will be made. Please support one another, respect the new responsibilities in place, and help make these transitions successful. Some transitions have already taken place and others will take a few weeks to complete. Change is never easy, and it won’t all happen at once.
Here are the personnel moves:
- Monica Rodriguez– will Move from Assembly Supervisor to a new role of Assembly Support Supervisor. This support function will be responsible for staffing levels, time and attendance, and other support activities required to keep other leaders focused on results. Monica will report directly to me.
- Corey Bednarek will move from Fabrication Supervisor to Production Lead-Marine & Industrial. This is a new role for our team and was created to drive focus on Production results. When we focus, we win!
- Adrian Mosby will move from Quality Supervisor to Production Lead-Utility. This is similar to a role he held previously with expanded responsibilities.
- Angel Espinoza will assume the role of Trainer -Marine & Industrial lines. Angel possesses significant know-how and will be a great asset to the team to train and emphasize processes required to build safely and efficiently.
- Yoni Perez will assume the role of Trainer -Utility. Yoni also possess a great deal of knowledge that will be well used ensuring we are doing processes correctly, safely and consistently.
- Howard Lovejoy will backfill Corey in Fabrication. Howard knows much of the role today and will continue to add value in this expanded capacity.
What you should expect is a continued focus on clarity, accountability, and doing the fundamentals well. Thank you for your professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to the work you do every day. Your efforts are critical as we move forward in 2026.
Scott
